Governor Kehoe's proposed FY27 budget includes cuts to Day Habilitation Services within the Division of Developmental Disabilities budget (HB2010). I respectfully urge you to speak with House Budget and Senate Appropriations leadership and advocate to STOP these proposed cuts.
Day Services provide essential support that allows individuals with disabilities to live engaged, meaningful lives in the community. These services support skill development, employment readiness, social connection, and independence. They also provide critical stability for families and sustain Missouri's direct support workforce.
Cuts to Day Services would have a significant and immediate impact on the individuals and families who rely on them every day.
Please protect local providers and the Missourians they serve by ensuring there are no cuts to DD Day Services in the final FY27 budget.
